Allen Kimber ADK Fire Safety Training

Having recently retired from the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue after 30 years of service, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to offer anyone looking to do a health and safety or fire safety course. During my time in the Fire Service, my role as watch manager was to ensure the safety and well being of my crew and the community, whilst also responding to any emergency call outs.

I am a highly decorated individual, having received an abundance of commendations over my years of service. I have been honoured with 5 commendations for rescues and work carried out in competition First Aid, and 13 national titles as the captain of the First Aid team. I am also a recipient of 3 United Kingdom St John Grand Prior awards and the prestigious Wilkinson Sword award for best individual in the country.

Prior to working in the Fire and Rescue Services, I was a coal miner at Lea Hall Colliery. I was a member of the First Aid team, Mines Rescue and safety quiz team, consistently enjoying success at Opens, Regional and National levels respectfully. Since 1992, I have been a freelance trainer, and in 1996, I created and set up my company ADK Training and Consultancy Ltd.

The trainers that I use are often retired Firefighters and Medics, with real and irreplaceable experience in the field. I feel it is vital to employ people that have real and proven experience in emergency situations, as they can offer an important insight into the profession and valuable advice to anyone in training.
